Julie Steen serves as Associate Professor and Associate Director of Research in the School of Social Work at the University of Central Florida.  Through her research, she has furthered the field's understanding of child welfare policies and organizations. Her work has been published in a number of journals, such as Children and Youth Services Review and Child Abuse and Neglect.  In addition, her research has been disseminated at a number of conferences, including the International Congress of the International Society for the Prevention of Child Abuse and Neglect.

Prior to her academic career, she served the child welfare field in a number of roles.  She provided crisis counseling to abuse survivors, offenders and non-offending parents.  She also served at the community level as a public awareness trainer in support of Child Abuse Prevention Month, a lobbyist representing child welfare priorities in the Florida Legislature, and a coordinator of TEAM Florida, a statewide inter-agency collaborative entity that held primary responsibility for the production of Florida’s Five Year Child Abuse Prevention and Treatment Plan.

She received her PhD from Florida State University, her MSW from the University of Georgia, and her BA from the University of North Florida.

Linda K. (Rimmer) Zierold has more than 38 years of experience in the area of social services, most of which has been with Goodwill Industries.  Before joining Goodwill Industries of Central Florida, where she served as the Vice President over Mission Services for 22 years, she had also worked with other Goodwills in Florida, Texas, and Pennsylvania. Linda has always sought to develop and expand organizational capacity, administering and sustaining programs that served over 49,000 participants during her final year of 2016 at Goodwill of Central Florida, and placed more than 8,500 into jobs during that same year. Goodwill Industries of Central Florida served a six-county area, providing specialized services and Job Connection Centers in all six counties. All services were free to program participants.

 Linda is a past State President of the Florida Rehabilitation Association and has served on the National Rehabilitation Association’s Board of Directors. She also continues to volunteer her time on the Florida Rehabilitation Association's State Board of Directors; the Board of Trustees of the La Amistad Foundation, currently serving as Board Chair; the state Board of Directors for the Florida Prosperity Partnership, serving as the Vice-Chair; and also serves on the Board of Directors of the City of Life Foundation.

She has a Master’s degree from the University of South Florida and is a Certified Rehabilitation Counselor; a Certified Vocational Evaluator; a graduate of Goodwill Industries International’s Executive Training Program; a surveyor for a national accreditation agency, CARF; and a graduate of the Leadership Orlando program.

Linda K. Rimmer Zierold

Cress V. Diglio started his career in Business Brokerage in 1999 at the age of 28.  Despite being one of the youngest Brokers in the Industry he was able to achieve immediate success.  Since that time he has been involved in over 500 successful transactions.  In 2002 Cress was the only agent in Corporate Investment Internationals history to win every year end company award. 

 In 2010-2011 Cress was recognized for having the largest closed transaction in the entire Sunbelt Franchise worldwide. The Business Brokers of Florida recognized Cress as Central Florida’s Top Dollar Producer in 2011.  During his first year with Transworld Business Advisors in 2014 Cress became a member of their prestigious President’s Club.

Cress is well respected in the Business Broker Community.  He has been an active member of the IBBA since 2003. Cress is a graduate of the IBBA Train the Trainer program and is a Certified Instructor.  He served four years as head of the CBI exam and two years as the IBBA Education Chair.  In November 2013 Cress was presented with the honor of Fellow of the IBBA.  In 2015 Cress received the highest honor in his profession when he was named Chairman of the International Business Brokers Association.

Cress is extremely active in his local community.  He proudly serves on the Board of the City of Life.  Cress also serves on the Board of Governors at the Citrus Club. He was the Citrus Club’s first ever Philanthropy Committee Chair and is the co-founder of The Diamonds are Forever Casino Night Extravaganza benefiting charities in Central Florida.  In 2009 Cress was recognized by the Orlando Business Journal as one of Orlando’s top 40 under forty.
